WHERE TO START:
Step 1 – Create an Email Account for Coupon Sites
Sign up for a free email account so you don’t have to deal with tons of newsletters coming into your personal email. I really think this is important because if you have a separate email account you are more likely to sign up for offers for free coupons and newsletters. Which is where I find a lot of printable coupons.
Step 2 – Start Collecting Coupons
If you don’t get the Sunday Newspaper, Sign up for a subscription to the Daily Herald. They are the best price for Utah County. If you live outside of Utah County then just sign up for your local newspaper.
Create a place where you can keep Internet Coupons that you have printed. I typically print these as I find them because they disappear fast. I put them in a pile on my desk and cut them out when I do my weekly coupon clipping.
Step 3 –Build a Coupon binder
I prefer this method because I like to take all my coupons with me as I shop. Just in case there are deals that aren't advertised.
You will need: 9 pocket base ball sleeve dividers, 3 pocket photo holders, and tabs
Step 4 – Organize your coupons
Cut out all coupons you are going to use from the Sunday Inserts. Ask yourself: Would I want this coupon if I found a good deal on this product, if the answer is yes, then cut it out.
Cut and file all my Internet coupons at the same time.
Now you are set to begin shopping using coupons.
